Kyiv, based on the results of nine months of 2026, demonstrated the largest negative balance in Ukraine between companies that registered in the capital after the change of region and enterprises that legally left it. The net balance of the capital amounted to a minus of 559 companies, according to the analysis of the Experts Club based on statistics of Opentabot.
The second largest negative result was recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk region - a minus of 378 companies. In Odesa region, the balance was minus 84, in Poltava region - minus 66, in Volyn region - minus 65.
In general, 17 regions had a negative balance of legal transfers.
At the same time, in eight regions, the number of companies that changed their registration to this region exceeded the number of those that left it. The largest positive balance was recorded in the Sumy region - plus 412 companies. Kharkiv region received a net increase of 406 companies, Zaporizhzhya - 401, Lviv - 161, Kherson - 109.
Chernihiv region also had a positive balance - plus 34 companies, Zakarpattia - plus 27 and Chernivtsi - plus eight.
The most popular individual route remained Kyiv - Kyiv region: the capital as a legal address was changed in favor of the region 468 companies. At the same time, the registration of 350 enterprises was moved in the opposite direction.
Another 340 companies were re-registered from Kyiv to Zaporizhzhia region, 331 - to Kharkivsk. 322 companies moved their legal address from Dnipropetrovsk region to the capital.
According to Experts Club analysts, the significant positive balance in the frontline and war-affected regions should be interpreted with particular caution. These are legal addresses, so such statistics in themselves do not mean the relocation of production, offices or the main number of employees there.
