The price of diesel fuel of both types, as well as autogas, continues to rise, according to the monitoring of a number of gas station networks, which since February 2026 has been conducted by the internet portal "Energoreform".
According to monitoring data, as of October 20, compared to October 16, the price of diesel fuel and diesel fuel+ increased by UAH 1–3/l, autogas rose by UAH 1.6–3.5/l. At the same time, the price of regular diesel on the state UKRNAFTA reached UAH 99.9/l.
Gasoline remains mostly stable for several weeks.

As reported, on September 21, SOCAR was the first gas station to "release" the price of diesel fuel - up to UAH 103/l and UAH 104/l, respectively for DP and DP+.
On September 25, WOG and OKKO raised the price of premium diesel above UAH 100/l: from UAH 99.9/l to UAH 102.9/l, while the price of regular diesel fuel remained at UAH 99.9/l.
Dmytro Leushkin, the founder and CEO of Prime Group, explained at the time that diesel fuel prices had already a few days ago exceed UAH 100/l, but there is a non-public request from the government to restrain them.
On October 15, a number of gas station chains exceeded the mark of UAH 100/l for ordinary diesel fuel, the price of which was kept at UAH 99.9/l for a long time. The peculiarity of this day was that the state network UKRNAFTA, which is a kind of "restraint" of prices, set the price of diesel fuel+ at UAH 100.9/l.
At the same time, autogas prices rose again in almost all investigated networks - from UAH 0.6/l to UAH 2/l.
A few days before this, the director of the consulting groups A-95 Serhiy Kuyun predicted an increase in the price of autogas over the next 7-10 days by about 10% due to the increase in world prices.
Then he also drew attention to the rise in diesel fuel quotations on the London ICE exchange to $1,483/ton (more than $100/ton), noting that such a jump dashed hopes for stabilization of prices for this type of fuel.
At the same time, Kuyun emphasized that retail prices in gas station networks for regular diesel are lower than wholesale prices, which, in particular, in the central part of the country are UAH 101/l. According to him, at such wholesale prices, the price at the gas station should be at least UAH 105-106/l. At the same time, he noted that there is no shortage of fuel in Ukraine.
