Renewable energy has become one of the hottest topics at investment conferences devoted to the restoration of Ukraine. And there are good reasons for this.
First, Ukraine has one of the highest renewable generation potentials in Europe — according to IRENA, the technical potential of solar and wind energy exceeds 400 GW.
Secondly, the damage to traditional generation creates a structural deficit that can be filled by renewable sources in the medium term.
At the same time, investors are faced with real challenges: the risk of hostilities, insurance issues, the instability of the tariff policy and the limited capacity of the network in certain regions.
